Decorating with photographs.

I'm a huge, huge fan of photography... while I'm not very good at it myself, I think it's such a beautiful form of art.  I will tell you who is good at photography - my boyfriends brother.  He takes AMAZING pictures. Seriously. They're amazing.

The boy and I have been on the look out for some type of art that would look good in our living room.  Our sofa and love seat are a chocolate brown and our tables are a black/brown; the walls are painted like a tanish color.  His brother took this photo and uploaded it to Facebook and I instantly fell in love.  Don't you think this would just look great with our colors?  Just beautiful!!

See... told you it was beautiful!  :)

Now I've never developed a picture the size that we're planning on doing (to be honest, I'm not even sure of what dimensions I'll do...) - have any of you?  Any suggestions on size, framing, who produces the best work, etc?  I'd love to hear it!! :)

  1. I like it a lot Cammi! Very beautiful!! Not sure where you are thinking of developing the picture but mpix.com has really good pricing, in my opinion, and they have a good reputation for quality.

Not sure if you're looking for any other pictures (and my pictures really aren't that good!!) but if you are looking to compliment the one or to decorate the room more this picture is along the same color scheme (http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=31987733&id=63904934#!/photo.php?pid=36982193&id=63900249). Its not edited the greatest but I got some other ones too... Just thought I would throw that out there. I don't know what I think of it but my mom says its pretty - lol.

As for Framing - Hobby Lobby does custom framing and usually at least once a month they have 50% off of their framing prices. Hope that gives you some help! :)

BTW I love the blog and I will see you very very soon!!

    Love you,
    Kelsey
